In the Czech Republic, a businessman who supplied luxury cars to Russia was jailed

A businessman is in jail in the Czech Republic on charges of attempting to evade existing anti-Russian sanctions. This is the first case in the country since the beginning of a large-scale invasion of Ukraine. The portal denikn.cz writes about it.

According to the police, the businessman intended to supply luxury cars to Russia, which is prohibited by EU sanctions. He faces up to three years in prison or a fine.

The defendant planned to supply luxury goods cars to the Russian Federation through Belarus. However, the implementation of these plans in the first stage was prevented by the National Center for Combating Organized Crime.

It was previously reported that a businessman from Lviv supplied luxury cars to Russia. And entrepreneurs from the Poltava region supplied equipment for the production of the S-300 to the Russian Federation.
