Layout journalists found a corresponding ad on the group’s page in the popular Russian social network VKontakte, which is banned in Ukraine.
It refers to the recruitment of former security officials “who have experience in operational work and detentions, and who are capable of performing commandant functions.”
The journalists of “Nimage” contacted the recruiter of the “Wagnerites” by one of the phone numbers indicated in the ad. He said that such vacancies for mercenaries appeared for the first time, and they plan to create a commandant regiment from former operatives.
The “operational regiment” is also called the “military police”. The husband specified that his duties would include “observance of the rules of the company”: to make sure that there were no thieves and marauders, there was no beating, drunkenness, and so on.
The recruiter also said that one of the tasks of the military police would be to control volunteer battalions and soldiers of the Ministry of Defense.
To catch a defense minister is not a sinful thing. These animals have bred there, thumping like pigs. We have full authority,” the recruiter said.
The minimum salary for such work, according to the recruiter, is 240,000 rubles ($2,900) plus “very good” bonuses.
It is impossible to choose in which occupied territories of Ukraine it is impossible to work.
After all, you are not in a pioneer camp, where they will send you – we will work there, – said the recruiter.
Vacancies are open. How relevant they will be in a month – I will not tell you. Russia is great, they call us from all regions of the country, you won’t believe it,” added the Muscovite.
