Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian occupation forces, more than 11,000 women have been conscripted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine of their own free will. From the first day of the war, women, along with men, stood in lines at the territorial recruitment centers to join the defense of the Motherland, Naev noted.

more than 16,000 women servicemen are serving in the Ground Forces;
