The world’s solidarity with Ukraine was demonstrated in concrete practical results at the conference in London.
As a result of the conference on the restoration of Ukraine in London, it was possible to attract additional financial resources for restoration, form a coalition of businesses for investment, and strengthen coordination with international partners. This is what Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said at the last press conference, the government’s press service reported on Thursday, June 22.

The European Union has announced a new medium-term tool to support Ukraine in the amount of 50 billion euros.

The UK has announced a new £3bn support program for the next three years.

An agreement was signed with the World Bank, which will attract $1.76 billion.

EBRD to support Ukrainian state-owned energy companies Ukrhydroenergo, UkrainergoNAC Naftogaz of Ukraine in the amount of 600 million euros.

The European Investment Bank will launch a new portfolio of projects to restore Ukraine for 840 million euros.

The United States announced the allocation of 1.3 billion dollars.

Germany announced the allocation of an additional 381 million euros.

The head of government emphasized that important political statements were also made during the conference.
“Our partners support the idea of using Russia’s fixed assets to restore Ukraine. The second message, which also continues to sound: Ukraine will become a member of the European Union. We are making many changes to quickly realize our aspirations,” says Denys Shmyhal.
He also thanked the UK for organizing the conference, as well as partners and allies who support Ukraine.
It will be recalled that Denys Shmyhal met with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in London at a conference on the restoration of Ukraine. There, Shmygal met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
