The death toll from an explosion in a residential building in the Dneprovsky district of Kyiv has risen to three. Rescuers removed the body of a dead woman from under the rubble, – Mayor Vitali Klitschko on Telegram.
Klitschko added that the search and rescue operation continues.
There was an explosion and a fire in the city last night, probably due to a gas leak. Subsequently, the body of the deceased was pulled out from under the rubble. Later, a second victim was found.
According to the Kyiv city military administration, four people were injured (three of them were hospitalized) and 18 people were rescued.
