Participants of the anti-government rally tried to remove the Ukrainian flag from the National Museum.
In Prague, 14 violators were fined for attempting to remove the Ukrainian flag during a demonstration in March outside the National Museum. It was reported by Seznam Zprávy.
Police detained 21 protesters, then transferred their cases to the Prague 1 district municipal office on suspicion of minor offenses. So, 14 violators were fined.
Currently, 14 productions have been permanently halted. In all cases, an administrative penalty is imposed – a fine. According to the publication, the value of all fines is 1,000 crowns (a little more than 42 euros).
Another six cases are being considered by the district administration, their defendants are accused of committing a misdemeanor.
On March 11, an anti-government rally took place in Prague on Wenceslas Square, after which some of the protesters went to the National Museum building, demanding the removal of the Ukrainian flag, but were stopped by the police.
Recall that in May, an unknown person tore the Ukrainian flag from the flagpole in the central park of the Georgian capital Tbilisi.
