The liquidation of the officer was officially confirmed by the Russian security forces. Postovalov, 53, worked in the leadership of the occupying so-called Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kherson region.
Previously, Postovalov served in Voronezh, where he was the deputy head of the local police, but after the occupation he came to the Kherson region.
Russian media write that he died as a result of a missile attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Arabat Spit during the visit of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov. The remains of Postovalov were determined by DNA for a long time.
