Ukrainians continue to call the hotline of the Commissioner for Missing Persons under Special Circumstances. Citizens report missing people with whom they lost contact after the explosion of a hydroelectric power station in the Kherson region. This was announced on June 20 by the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.
It is noted that 311 appeals were received, and about 90% of these messages relate to the missing from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson. As of June 20, the whereabouts of 202 residents of the region have been established.
However, 109 people remain missing. The National Police is looking for them, conducting investigative actions.
The Ministry of Reintegration noted that reporting missing persons under special circumstances should be reported to the hotline of the authorized person by phone: 0 800 339 247. And residents of the occupied territories can contact Viber or WhatsApp messengers at: -9-4.
Recall that the aggressor country Russia rejected the request of the UN humanitarian mission to the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson region. The mission was to provide humanitarian assistance and evacuate civilians.
