NATO will step forward towards Ukraine, but will not give it a clear timetable for joining the bloc yet,” Joane said.
Earlier, Secretary General of the military-political bloc Jens Stoltenberg said that at the NATO summit in Vilnius they plan to “bring Ukraine closer to the Alliance.”
We intend to create the Ukraine-NATO Council, to provide a multi-year program of military supplies for Ukraine, – added the Secretary General.
However, Kyiv will not receive an invitation to NATO at the summit in Vilnius, Stoltenberg stressed.
According to him, the primary task for the allies remains to ensure the victory of Ukraine in the war with Russia.
