It is reported by Bloomberg.
He (Blinken – ed.) did a hell of a job. We are on the right track,” the American leader said.
Asked if he feels Washington has made progress, Biden said “it has been made.”
Recall that Blinken arrived in Beijing on June 18. The Secretary of State had previously held talks with Foreign Minister Qin Gang that the US Foreign Office called “substantial and constructive.”
The next day, Blinken met with Xi Jinping. The talks were the first meeting of this level between the US and China since 2018. Blinken pointed out that official Beijing confirmed the non-provision of military assistance to Russia.
