According to him, the water level dropped to 31 cm. As a result of the flood, after the explosion of the hydroelectric power station, 818 houses remain flooded in a number of settlements.
At the same time, 17 settlements remain flooded in the temporarily occupied territory. The cornet added that a gradual decrease in the water level was recorded at the observation point in Kherson.
The water is at the level of 31 cm, and on June 19 it dropped by 17 cm, and from the beginning of these days – by another 8 cm, the speaker of the State Emergency Service said.
More than 2,700 people were evacuated in the Kherson region. In total, 2,783 people were evacuated, including 309 children and 80 people with limited mobility. Also, 284 animals were evacuated from the flood zone.
