This operation was carried out in the political interest of one person – Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba believes that the departure of 11 Ukrainian prisoners from the Russian Federation to Hungary was carried out in the political interests of one person – Prime Minister of this country Viktor Orban. Kuleba said this on the air of the telethon.
“There is one simple goal: Viktor Orban must show Hungarians both in Hungary and outside Hungary that he is their only defender. This whole operation was carried out in one man’s political interest,” said the Foreign Minister.
At the same time, Kuleba noted that, according to unofficial information, “other players are involved in this, and not only from Hungary.”
It will be recalled that Hungary confirmed that the Russian Federation handed over the Ukrainian prisoners to it. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that this happened without the consent of the Ukrainian side. They also reported that all attempts by Ukrainian diplomats in recent days to establish direct contact with Ukrainians were unsuccessful. In addition, the data received from the relatives of some of them indicate that the assurances of the Hungarian authorities about the alleged free status of the defenders do not correspond to the reality. The Foreign Ministry requests that the consul be allowed to the Ukrainian captives in Hungary.
It was also reported that the location of 11 Ukrainian prisoners in Hungary was established.
