On Saturday, Russian (and some Belarusian) propagandists spread information that the German publication Stern allegedly confirmed preliminary statements about the injury and emergency hospitalization in Berlin of Ukrainian intelligence chief Budanov. The German media made a statement in this regard.
The media stated that they did not publish the news about the serious injury of the head of the GUR, and Russian propaganda came up with a link to the publication.
This story is nothing but an outright fake, another fake of Russian propagandists, writes Stern in the article.
It is further noted that the last article about Budanov is dated February 28 of this year.
The Germans are worried that misinformation about Budanov’s severe injury has already appeared in other languages. According to the publication, the website of the Italian news agency Nova News, which allegedly uses the Russian Federation to spread its own propaganda, published an article on this topic in English, Spanish, Italian, German and other languages.
