Russia is the aggressor and violates the UN Charter, that is, it entered the sovereign territory of Ukraine, recalled Mikhail Podolyak.
Russian President Vladimir Putin’s attempts to justify aggression against Ukraine are a manifestation of deception. It was written by the adviser to the head of the Office of the President Mikhail Podolyak in Twitter on Sunday, June 18.
“Typical Russian… cheating. An internationally wanted war criminal with an arrest warrant assures African leaders that he is acting exclusively within the framework of the UN Charter. Perhaps we have missed something,” he said.
Podolyak recalled that Russia is the aggressor and violates the UN Charter, that is, it destroyed the sovereign territory of Ukraine, occupied part of the territory, killed, tortured, deported people, blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station and struck at other critical infrastructure facilities.
“What does the UN Charter say about demonstration executions, torture of prisoners and trials? Maybe MGIMO sets some other version of international law? ” Podolyak added.
On June 16, leaders of several African countries visited Ukraine and met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Distinguished guests in Kyiv presented a “peace plan” consisting of 10 points.
After Ukraine, the African leaders left for Russia, where they met with Putin. The head of the Kremlin regime tried to justify the invasion of Ukraine.
