Ukraine needs planes. More than ever if they want to win their fight. This also applies to Danish F-16 fighters,” Poulsen said.
Copenhagen has 43 F-16 fighters, 30 of which are in active use. Now, however, Denmark is replacing the F-16 with more modern stealth fifth-generation F-35 fighter-bombers.
Earlier, Poulsen proposed organizing training for Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets in Denmark. According to him, the plan developed jointly with the Netherlands involves the training of Ukrainians on the F-16 at the Danish air force base Skryudstrup in South Jutland.
