The plot of the TF1 TV channel, lasting less than three minutes, was posted on the Youtube channel on June 15. It has already been viewed by more than 130 thousand users.
The video includes footage of the road to the Russian positions, video from inside the dugouts, brief comments from the Russian military about the ammunition and drones they use against the Ukrainian military, footage of them firing small arms.
In the off-screen recitation, the journalists never once remembered who was the aggressor in the war, and do not mention any facts in a broader context, except that the Russian military was expecting a counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and had been preparing for it for a long time.
TF1 is a privately owned nationwide French television channel controlled by the TF1 Group and majority-owned by Bouygues. The channel’s market share is 24%, making it the largest audience in Europe.
The channel is one of the oldest in the world and one of the few that has been operating since pre-war times. During its existence, the channel has changed many names. The current name TF1 (Télévision Française 1) has been in use since 1975.
