Electricity went out in many districts of Sevastopol on the evening of June 16, local telegram channels reported. According to these data, the light has disappeared in half of the city. Immediately the light was turned off in Alushta.

The so-called head of Sevastopol, temporarily occupied by the Muscovites, Mikhail Razvozhaev, said that, according to preliminary information, the light disappeared after the automatics at the Sevastopol substation turned off. Around 22:55 local time, the so-called deputy chairman of Sevastopol, Yevgeny Gorlov, said that light had returned to all districts of the city.
The RBC-Ukraine publication claims that in Sevastopol and Alushta, according to local residents, the light disappeared after a drone attack. There is no documentary evidence for this information. Other sources did not confirm these data.
Judging by the reports in the Sevastopol telegram channels, there was no electricity in the city for a little less than an hour.
