Over the past week, more than five thousand meters of trenches and more than two and a half kilometers of an anti-tank ditch have been dug on the state border.

In the Northern Operational Zone, the system of engineering obstacles is being built continuously in the border areas of Belarus and Russia. This was announced by the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Serhiy Naev, the press service of the command reports.

More than 5,000 meters of trenches and more than 2.5 kilometers of anti-tank ditches were dug along the state border last week.

In the border area, planned mining of the area continues. In particular, more than 8 thousand mines were used. More than 60 firing positions, 120 shelters for personnel, more than 150 shelters for vehicles and armored vehicles are equipped, Naev added.
