    .

I honestly don’t know what I meant [Столтенберг — «Ракурс”]. Perhaps there are translation difficulties in the application. We have already said more than once that this learning process is not easy and stretched out, ”said Yury Ignat, spokesman for the Air Force Command, to the Public.

The representative of the Air Force commented on the words of NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg that the training of Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets has already begun. Ignat spoke of “difficulties in translation” and added that the exercise process was “difficult and lengthy.”

Ukraine at today’s Rammstein received a “clear signal” that the exercises of the Ukrainian military on F-16 fighter jets will begin, Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said. Next, Ukraine will work with other countries to create a fighter coalition led by Denmark and the Netherlands.

This was reported by the correspondent of the European Truth from Brussels, where the meeting took place on Thursday.

Today I heard very important news about the so-called “bird coalition” or “coalition of fighters” … Today we received commitments from our partners that the exercises will begin, and that together we will build the structure of this consortium of fighters, the minister said.

He emphasized that training will begin first on F-16 fighters, this training process will be led by the Netherlands and Denmark. Later, according to him, other countries will join.

Ukraine will send 24 pilots to the first wave, who must master the F-16 fighter. This was reported by the journalist of the publication “Voice of America” Carla Babb, citing her own sources.

F16 training for Ukraine is expected to begin this summer with 24 Ukrainian pilots, sources said.

The correction of Ukrainian pilots abroad for training on the F-16 will take place in several waves. The list has already been made. Priority is given to young pilots with a good command of English. Now, within the framework of the aviation coalition, they are deciding who and how many will transfer fighter jets to Ukraine

At the opening of the Ramstein meeting, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin announced the start of programs for the training of Ukrainian pilots by Denmark and the Netherlands.

Meanwhile, the General Staff said that the Slovak and Polish MiG-29 fighters had already begun to operate.

This was announced by the Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Brigadier General Oleksiy Gromov during a briefing at the Military Media Center.

In June, MiG-29 fighter jets received as part of international technical assistance from Poland and Slovakia were “put on the wing,” he said.

Brigadier General Gromov thanked our partners for their support and assistance and expressed the hope that the legendary F-16 fighters will appear in the Ukrainian skies in the near future.
