In the Belotserkovsky district of the Kyiv region, a ten-year-old boy drowned in the river. This was announced on June 15 by the head of the regional police department Andrei Nebitov.
“Today, a fifth grade student went fishing with friends, tried to swim across the river, but lost strength and sank. For almost an hour, doctors, along with the police, performed resuscitation to save the minor age. Unfortunately, the child did what could not survive,” he stressed.
The head of the regional police urged parents to explain to children the dangers of swimming unaccompanied by adults.
