Swedish eco-activist Greta Thunberg joined a protest organized by Ukrainians under the UN office in Bonn in western Germany, demanding that Russia be punished for the ecocide in the Kherson region, especially the Kakhovskaya explosion hydroelectric power station. Thunberg noted that people should not just stand by and look at the crimes of the Russian invaders and expressed support for the Ukrainians.

Greta stressed that Russia’s crimes in Ukraine “must be condemned” and the world must not allow it to continue.
