A person can set a world record for the duration of the catch and the amount of prey. He released his catch from the river.
In Italy, fisherman Alesandro Biancardi caught a giant catfish in the Po River. Smithsonian Magazine wrote about it.
The man tried for 40 minutes to get a three-meter catfish out of the water. He noted that he had seen such a large fish for the first time in 23 years.
The catfish reaches a length of 285 centimeters, almost like a small cargo van. Biancardi stopped weighing the fish to further stress the creature, and then released it back into the river.
It is worth adding that the river is known for the fact that giant catfish live here. However, it is still at risk of drying out.
It will be remembered that earlier the fisherman became famous for catching catfish with dragee and soda.
In Poland, a fisherman caught a catfish weighing more than 100 kg
