The tablets are delivered centrally to the affected areas. They can be obtained from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, from local authorities, or from Central Clinical Hospital field teams.
The Ministry of Health reported that “a multi-month supply of tablets for water disinfection” has been built up in the flooded areas.
It was noted that the tablets were delivered to the affected areas in the center. They can be obtained from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, local authorities, or from CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) field teams, which are now working in the affected regions.
It was also noted that stocks of medicines were formed in the affected regions to treat possible diseases, because “the water of the reservoirs above the territories affected by the Russian terrorist act at the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station has a high level of pollution due to flooding of agricultural land, sewage facilities, cemeteries.”
As clarified by the Ministry of Health, water cannot be consumed and used on the farm without purification, it can lead to chronic intestinal infections. You can use only bottled and imported water, as well as that supplied through a centralized water supply system.
Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers has already allocated almost 2.5 billion Hryvnias to provide water to the southern regions of Ukraine.
As reported, the level of flooding in the Kherson region continues to decrease, significant water pollution is not recorded.
