President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Headquarters of the Commander-in-Chief, where a report was heard on the achievements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the needs at the front. The head of state announced this in a video message on June 12.
“Held the Headquarters today. Main reports – from the commanders of the operational areas, which are the most important, the hottest: Khortitsa and Tavria. The battles are difficult, but our movement is there, and it is very important. The losses of the enemy are exactly what we need. And although the weather is not good these days – the rains make our work difficult – but nevertheless, the strength of our soldiers gives the result. And for this I thank everyone who is now in the battle, everyone who supports our combat brigades in the appropriate areas,” said the president.
Zelensky pointed out that Generals Oleksandr Syrsky and Oleksandr Tarnavsky reported on the successes, where the points of the front need to be strengthened.
There was also a report by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny on the general situation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service – on stabilization measures in the occupied territories.
“We are very actively working on the supply of the necessary weapons, shells. There was also an intelligence report on the enemy’s options for action. We maintain and strengthen our operational dominance. Special thanks to Bakhmut – we increase our control over this area. Thank you to our staff for every Ukrainian flag that is now returning to its rightful place in villages in the newly de-occupied territory! Thank you for the significant replenishment of our exchange fund,” said the Ukrainian leader.
Recall that in one week the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated seven settlements – Lobkovoe, Levadnoe, Novodarovka, Neskuchnoe, Storozhevoe, Makarovka, Blagodatnoye.
