According to activists, there are now an unprecedented number of Buryats in the United States.

The residents of Buryatia expressed their protest against the mobilization by leaving Russia for Mongolia, and from there to other countries, in particular, to the USA. This is what the representative of the Democratic Movement said Buryaad-Mongol Erheten Rajana Dugar De Ponte, reports Ukrinform.

“Thousands of Buryats crossed the border with Mongolia in cars, buses, airplanes. Some of the people who fled from the mobilization to Mongolia remained in this country, some went to other countries, in particular to the United States ,” he said.

According to the representative Buryaad-Mongol Erheten, now an unprecedentedly large number of Buryats are in the United States. They are applying for asylum and intend to stay in the States.

He added that this flow increased several times immediately after the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Recall that the majority of Russian citizens assumed that a new wave of mobilization could be announced in the next three months.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said that dissatisfaction with Russian military mothers is growing, gaining frightening momentum.
