Former regiment commander Azov, Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Maxim Zhorin confirmed the success of the advance of the Third Separate Assault Brigade (3 OShBr) in the direction of Bakhmut. He said this on his Telegram channel on Saturday, June 10.
According to him, the Ukrainian forces are set in the positions recovered from the invaders. However, he added that the enemy still has a large advantage in terms of manpower, ammunition and aviation.
“However, we saw the defense weaknesses that the enemy was trying to build, and we hit them,” the military said.
Zhorin also said that the occupiers of this sector of the front were now reinforced with recruited prisoners from Storm z in the ranks of the regular army. However, the 57th brigade of the Russian Federation was mostly in front of the defenders, the mayor added.
The military also said Russian aviation was operating several times a day.
The occupiers are constantly moving new reserves to make up lost positions. However, the conditions on the battlefield are still dictated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he concluded.
