Serhiy Rebrov is the new head coach of the Ukrainian national football team.
Rebrov became the 14th head coach in the history of the Ukrainian national team. For the last two years he has been working in the UAE championship.
Previously, Rebrov will work with the Ukrainian national team for two qualifying rounds – for Euro 2024 and the World Cup 2026.
At a presentation at the UAF, Rebrov said that Ukrainian coaches would be additionally invited to his headquarters.
He confirmed the information about Ruslan Khudzhamov as a goalkeeping coach.
Prior to that, Rebrov was the head coach of Al Ain. His contract with the club from the UAE continued until the summer of 2023.
He also coached Dynamo in 2014-2017, headed Al-Agly from Saudi Arabia and the Hungarian Ferencváros.
