Ukraine is ready to consider an appeal for evacuation from the Belgorod region of Russia.
This was announced on June 7 by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Yusov.
The fighting continues. The rashist authorities actually left several settlements without control, trying only to establish fire control, which means attacking artillery, multiple launch rocket systems at their own civilian infrastructure and local residents, – said the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to him, the fighters of the RDC and the Legion of Freedom of Russia actually perform the function of armed self-defense in the Belgorod region, where they protect their own compatriots from the Kremlin regime.
Support for the rebels among the local population is growing. This applies both to those who want to take part in the armed struggle against Putin, and to local residents who ask for protection,” the military intelligence official said, adding that Ukraine would duly consider an appeal to evacuate civilians from the Belgorod region, if any.
On June 6, the Legion “Freedom of Russia” released a video confirmation of the liquidation of the Russian Colonel Stesev, head of the operational command “Belgorod”.
On June 5, the Russian Volunteer Corps declared that it fully controlled the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in the Shebekinsky district of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, 3 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Later, the governor of the region Gladkov confirmed this:
As of now, we are unable to enter.
Also, the RDK and the Legion “Freedom of Russia” stated that together in Novaya Tavolzhanka they liquidated the colonel of the Russian armed forces, the senior operational group “Belgorod” Stesev.
