Russia admitted that an ammonia pipeline exploded in the Kharkiv region, but traditionally began to blame Ukraine.
The Russian Ministry of Defense acknowledged the explosion of the ammonia pipeline in the Kharkov region, but blamed “Ukrainian saboteurs” for it.
“On June 5, around 21:00 Moscow time, in the area of the village of Masyutovka, Kharkiv region, a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group blew up the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline,” the message said.
The Russian ministry said that due to the damage to the ammonia pipeline, some victims received the necessary medical assistance.
“Currently, due to damaged sections of the pipeline, remnants of ammonia are bleeding from Ukrainian territory. There were no casualties among Russian servicemen,” the Russian Defense Ministry said.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova hastened to declare that Moscow “will make efforts to find out the circumstances of the explosion of the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline.” However, the Russian side has traditionally said that it suspects Kyiv of this incident.
According to him, the restoration of the damaged ammonia pipeline will take one to three months “if there is access to the facility.”
Recall that Russian war criminals stoned the ammonia pipeline in the Kupyansky district of the Kharkov region for the second time.
As we have already reported, on June 5, during the shelling, the Russians damaged an ammonia pipeline in the Kupyansky district of the Kharkiv region, as a result of which a depressurization occurred. As a result, 134 tons of ammonia leaked.
