The actions of Russian embassy employees are contrary to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
In Finland, the government decided to expel nine Russian embassy employees involved in intelligence activities from the country. Yle reported.
“Their actions are contrary to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations,” the government said in a press release.
The decision was made by the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy under the President of the Republic and the Government.
Recall that the Russian Federation has frozen the bank accounts of the Finnish diplomatic mission.
It was previously reported that three letters with an unknown white powder were sent to the Finnish Embassy in Moscow.
