It was noted that the accident occurred in the morning in the Dobrotitsa district of the city of Goleshevo.
“During the collision of a local passenger train with a truck, ten people were injured, including the truck driver,” said Gabriela Netopilova-Slushtikova, a representative of the regional rescue service.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the incident was the lack of attention of the truck driver.
There are 50 passengers on the train. The resumption of traffic on the railway section where the accident occurred is expected no earlier than 16:00 Kyiv time.
It was earlier reported that at least 40 passengers were injured in a collision between a passenger and freight train in eastern Bangladesh.
