This issue is now more important than some problems of the Ukrainian state system, the head of the Polish government said.

The Prime Minister of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, said that Ukraine is fighting in the interests of NATO against Russian imperialism, which threatens allied states, and therefore deserves to be part of the Alliance. PAP reports.

“Even though Ukraine today is not part of NATO, it is fighting for its interests in the sense that it is protecting against a brutal Russian force that will threaten many NATO countries. I believe that Ukraine deserves to- offer a very fast path to NATO “, – said the head of the Polish government.

Morawiecki said that this issue is now more important than some problems of the Ukrainian state system.

The Polish Prime Minister also urged Western European countries, which are geographically distant from Russia, to be more favorable to Ukraine.

It was previously reported that Ukraine wanted guarantees that it would become a member of NATO as soon as possible after the war.

It will be remembered that earlier, British Defense Minister Ben Wallace said that Ukraine’s accession to NATO will not be fast, because there are still disagreements on this issue. However, the Alliance is ready to support Ukraine.
