At one moment it is impossible to involve a large number of pilots in the exercises. This is due to the high intensity of work of Ukrainian aviation against the enemy. Therefore, the exercises will be held according to the principles of rotation. Yuriy Ignat, the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announced this on the air of the telethon on June 4.
According to him, the list of pilots for the exercises has already been formed. In the first wave, there may be several dozen pilots – these will be the best and most experienced military. Also priority will be given to defenders who speak English well.
Priority will also be given to young pilots who will later become mentors to their junior colleagues. In addition, as Western aviation supplies, engineers and combat control officers will study.
Recall that the Office of the President announced the registration of the European part of the coalition of fighters. The coalition of countries ready to provide combat aviation for Ukraine will include the UK, the Netherlands, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Portugal and France.
