Eight communities in the Sumy region were added to the list of territorial communities located in areas where fighting was taking place, or under temporary occupation, siege (blockade). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine (Ministry of Reintegration).
It was learned that on May 24, eight regions were included in the list. These are the territorial communities of the Dnepropetrovsk (6), Donetsk (66), Zaporozhye (61), Luhansk (37), Mykolaiv (22), Kharkiv (51), Kherson (49) and Sumy (8) regions.

When compiling the list, the following criteria are taken into account: whether the territories are temporarily occupied, whether the territories are surrounded (blocked), whether active battles are taking place in the territories.
It will be recalled that on the night of Friday, May 27, the enemy again fired on the Sumy region from its territory.
It was also reported that on the night of May 25, Krasnopolye in the Sumy region was subjected to rocket attacks from the territory of the Russian Federation.
