State Bureau of Investigation investigators reported in absentia that the former law enforcement officer from Lugansk was suspected of collaborationism. The traitor holds the position of “general prosecutor” of the so -called “LPR” and authorizes criminal decisions against Ukrainian citizens. This was reported by the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation on May 27.
Investigators found that the suspect voluntarily agreed to the occupiers ’offer to take the illegal position of“ general prosecutor ”of the terrorist organization. After the massive aggression by the Russian armed forces, he actively supports the armed aggression against Ukraine, conducts public briefings and pays tribute to employees of the “LPR prosecutor’s office.”
Currently, the former law enforcement officer is suspected of voluntarily holding a position in illegal law enforcement agencies established in the temporarily occupied territory (part 7 of article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sanction article provides punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 15 years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to 15 years. The investigation continues prior to trial.
It will be recalled that the National Police is now investigating approximately 500 cases of collaborationism. Most such cases were recorded in Lugansk (162 cases) and Kyiv (68 cases) regions.
