Steffen Hebeshtreit expressed the opinion of the German government: Kyiv may invade Russian territory against the backdrop of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.

Ukraine has the right to strike on the territory of the aggressor country for the purpose of self-defense against the backdrop of Russia’s aggression on Ukrainian territory. This is what German government spokesman Steffen Hebestreit said in response to a DW correspondent’s questions on Wednesday, May 31.

This is how the German official reacted to the mass drone attack in Moscow yesterday on May 30th.

However, according to him, Berlin opposes the use of German weapons for such strikes.

It will be remembered that on Tuesday, May 30, drones attacked Moscow and the Moscow region. Explosions were heard in several areas of the Russian capital and nearby settlements. The authorities reported the work of the air defense.
