The court found guilty and sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property a resident of Kropyvnytskyi, who corrected the missile strikes of Russian war criminals on Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities. The offender was convicted under the article “high treason committed under martial law.”

    .

This was reported on May 30 by the Office of the Prosecutor General and the Security Service of Ukraine.

After the start of a large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the man began working for Russia’s military intelligence. He was recruited remotely. He “leaked” data on power facilities located in the regional center, and also installed GPS trackers at electrical substations to further adjust missile attacks on them.

He came to the attention of the Russian special services because of his pro-Kremlin views, which were repeatedly made public among those around him.

The state traitor was caught red-handed in January 2023 when installing a tracker at one of the transformer substations in Kropyvnytskyi.
