Kemal Kilicdaroglu said he would continue the struggle for democracy, and called the electoral process “the most unfair in recent years.”
Turkey’s opposition presidential candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu called this year’s vote “the most unfair electoral process in recent years.” This was reported by Halk TV.
“We experienced the most unfair electoral process in recent years. All the possibilities of the state were mobilized for one political party. They were placed under the feet of one person,” he said.
Kilicdaroglu said he will continue the struggle for democracy in Turkey and called for support on this path.
“The Republican People’s Party and the National Alliance are fighting on all fronts with all their elements. We will continue to lead this struggle until true democracy comes to our country,” he insisted.
Remember, on May 28, the second round of presidential elections was held in Turkey. Incumbent President Recep Tayyip Erdogan won with 52.16% of the vote. 47.9% of voters voted for Kilicdaroglu.
Erdogan sang a victory song and, addressing his fans at the rally, thanked everyone who voted for him.
