A dream is a whole area where it is planned to live 1000 Ukrainians. This will be the largest location for temporarily displaced Ukrainians, arranged in stages.
In the Netherlands, in the city of Vlaardingen, the first 60 Ukrainian refugees moved to the Mechta shelter for long-term reception by Ukrainians. This was reported by Ukrinform.
It is reported that Mechta is a whole area where it is planned to live 1,000 Ukrainians. This will be the largest location for temporarily displaced Ukrainians, arranged in stages.
It was once an industrial area. A municipal spokesman said plans to build 387 temporary shelters, as well as a doctor’s office, a primary school for children under 12 and a sports complex.
Ukrainians living in Mechta are promised housing for three years – in the summer of 2026. The apartments must be equipped with everything necessary for living.
Recall that the Estonian police said that the FSB was trying to recruit Ukrainian refugees.
