War criminal Yevgeny Prigozhin, founder of the Russian PIK Wagner, once again indirectly criticized the regime of war criminal dictator Vladimir Putin, complaining about the Russian bureaucratic machine. Most likely, this is due to the insult that he did not receive the reward promised by the Kremlin for the alleged “capture” of Bakhmut.

This opinion was expressed to the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
The review points out that Prigozhin appears to have once again undermined Putin’s authority by declaring that Russian state media have banned any discussion of Wagner mercenaries. He said unnamed Russian officials would only benefit from censorship for one to three months before “the people start to resist and hate the bureaucrats.”
Analysts also recalled Russia’s night attacks on Ukraine using Shahed-131/136 drones. The ISW’s assessment is that Russia’s directing aerial munitions to Kyiv, rather than to infrastructure or military installations, limits the ability of this Russian air campaign to substantially weaken Ukrainian offensive capabilities for an upcoming counteroffensive.
According to ISW’s preliminary estimate, the slowdown in Russian offensive operations in the Bakhmut area likely gives Ukrainian forces in the area the initiative to launch a new round of deals around the city if they so desire.
