In the first round of voting, no candidate was able to overcome the required 50 percent threshold.
According to preliminary data, according to Anadolu Agency, after counting half of the ballots in the presidential elections, Erdogan receives more than 55% of the vote, Kilicdaroglu – more than 44%.
In addition, the incumbent president of a neighboring country today distinguished himself by handing out money at a polling station in Istanbul. The politician handed cash to minors – they do not yet have the right to vote, and therefore, according to the law, this is not considered voter bribery. In the first round of the presidential election, he also distributed money and gifts to children.
