On the night of today, May 28, the Russian invaders carried out the 14th air attack on Kyiv since the beginning of the month.

Today, the enemy decided to congratulate the people of Kiev on the Day of Kyiv with the help of their deadly UAVs. Previously, this was the most massive drone attack on the capital since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, namely, Shahed loitering ammunition. The attack was carried out in several waves, and the air raid lasted more than 5 hours! – said the head of the KMVA Sergey Popoko.
According to preliminary data, more than 40 Russian drones were destroyed in the airspace of Kyiv. At the same time, falling debris caused casualties and destruction in various parts of the city.
In Goloseevsky district:
- fragments of drones hit a seven-story non-residential building – one person died, another was hospitalized;
- there was an ignition of the roof of one of the malls;
- a fire broke out on the territory of one of the construction sites;
- a fire broke out on the territory of the enterprise, warehouses of finished products caught fire. Destruction on an area of 1000 square meters, there is one victim.
In the Pechersky district, the roof of the house caught fire.
In the Darnitsky district, windows were broken in one of the shops and the doors were damaged.

The press service of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that this night the enemy launched a record number of kamikaze drones against Ukraine – 54.
Iranian strike drones “Shahed-136/131” were launched in several directions:
- from the north – Bryansk region;
- from the south – Krasnodar Territory.
A total of 52 “shaheeds” were destroyed.
The enemy directed another night attack on military installations and critical infrastructure of the state in the central regions of the country, in particular, in the Kiev region. Here, in the zone of responsibility of the Center Air Command, most of the strike drones have been destroyed! — noted in the air force.
