In a conversation with a friend, the attacker said that Prigozhin, when he was elected commander-in-chief, promised to capture Kyiv within 12 days.
PMC Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin promises the Russians that if he is appointed commander-in-chief of the Russian Armed Forces, “he will be able to take Kyiv in less than two weeks.” This was reported to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
In a telephone conversation, the Russian occupier quoted the leader of the “Wagnerites”, saying that on the condition that he is elected commander in chief – “Kyiv will be taken in 12 days.”
“Well, Prigozhin was right: “If the people choose me as commander-in-chief today, I will be in Kyiv for 12 days,” said the Russian.
The resident also talks about the poor provision of territorial defense in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, where, according to the interlocutor, there is nothing to shoot: “There is nothing, only sticks.”
Remember, Prigozhin said that after leaving Bakhmut, he would leave most of his private army on Russian territory, “to prepare for future tasks.” He did not take for granted that he would once again involve the militants in the war against Ukraine.
