It elects the head of the Supreme Court. There are four candidates for this position. These are Stanislav Kravchenko, Chairman of the Cassation Criminal Court of the Supreme Court, Natalia Kovalenko, judge of the Cassation Administrative Court of the Supreme Court, Albert Ezerov, judge of the Cassation Administrative Court of the Supreme Court, and Ivan Mishchenko, judge of the Cassation Economic Court of the Supreme Court. The meeting is streamed online on YouTube.
As is known, the Chairman of the Supreme Court elects and dismisses the plenum of the Supreme Court by secret ballot. He is elected for a term of four years with the right to serve for two consecutive terms. The President of the Supreme Court cannot simultaneously hold any other administrative post.
