On May 25, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed two personnel decrees for the Security Service of Ukraine.
By Decree No. 298/2023, Serhiy Naumyuk was appointed Deputy Chairman of the SBU.
Until recently, he was the head of the detective unit of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, this winter he applied for the position of head of NABU in a competition. He also worked for the SBU.
Novinarnaya reminds that Naumyuk’s parents, who were born in Lugansk, received Russian passports in 2015, and his brother moved to Moscow to work in a bank. But now the brother and parents are already in the United States and have applied for renunciation of Russian citizenship.
In addition, Zelensky dismissed Taras Tsyutsyura from the post of head of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Khmelnytsky region. The corresponding decree appeared on the President’s website.
Recall that in early May, powerful explosions were heard in Khmelnitsky. Some volunteers reported at the time that the composition of the ammunition had suffered.
