Stefanchuk emphasized that for Ukraine, the number one issue remains the continuation and acceleration of military aid – from Poland and through Poland.

As part of an official visit to the Republic of Poland, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk met with the President of Poland Andrzej Duda. It is about additional military aid to Ukraine from Poland. This was reported by the press service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

“For Ukraine, the No. 1 issue remains the continuation and acceleration of military aid – from Poland and through Poland,” Ruslan Stefanchuk insisted.

The speaker of the Ukrainian parliament noted that agreeing to train Ukrainian pilots is “the first step to follow,” expressing hope that Poland will join the flying coalition.

“The Ukrainian army is the de facto army of NATO, because the defenders and defenders of Ukraine fight according to the standards of the Alliance, the weapons of the Alliance and carry out the main mission – to protect the countries of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization from the attack of the Russian Federation,” said Ruslan Stefanchuk.

Stefanchuk thanked Poland for supporting Volodymyr Zelensky’s peace formula and added that an important part of a just peace is the return of all Ukrainian children illegally deported to Russia, as well as the payment of reparations by the aggressor to Ukraine.

Separately, the parties discussed the process of Ukraine’s restoration.

Earlier it was reported that the head of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk arrived on a two-day visit to Poland.
