The president, who called for decisions to avoid mass shootings, was clearly redundant for Fox News presenters Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham on Tuesday. (Check out the videos below.)
Right-wing TV personalities fired President Joe Biden for asking lawmakers to pass a “gun law” after a gunman killed at least one 19th-grade student and two teens in Texas.
“Why are we ready to live in this massacre?” Biden told viewers to speak at the White House, where he also expressed condolences, prayers and personal opinions.
Carlson, a prime-time star on the conservative channel, accused the president of “insulting the memory of recently murdered children with the tired words of Democrats, dividing the country into a time of great sorrow instead to unite. ” Someone in the Fox News studio heard cheers as they spoke.
Ingreham called Biden’s words on his show “disgusting.”
“He spoke tonight because politics is selfish. “Given today’s backward world, it is appropriate to take advantage of the killing of innocent children to try to circulate members of their own polls,” he told Ingraham Corner.
