In Ukraine, as of this morning, May 24, more than 1,465 children have been affected by the full-scale Russian invasion – 482 children have died and at least 983 have been injured to varying degrees.

This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General with reference to the data of juvenile prosecutors.
These figures are not final. Work continues to install them in places of warfare, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories, the department notes.
Children in the following regions suffered the most:
- Donetsk region – 461;
- Kharkiv region – 278;
- Kyiv region – 128;
- Kherson region – 102;
- Zaporozhye region – 91;
- Mykolaiv region – 89;
- Chernihiv region – 70;
- Dnepropetrovsk region – 70;
- Lugansk region – 66.
In particular, it was established that on May 23, a two-year-old boy was injured as a result of an enemy missile hitting a residential area in the town of Torets, Donetsk region.
