Russian conquerors took Byzantine gold and other artifacts “at an exhibition” in Veliky Novgorod.
The invaders looted the Tauric Chersonese museum-reserve in Sevastopol. This was reported on May 22 by the press service of the Representation of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
It is noted that the conquerors brought to Veliky Novgorod for an exhibition the gold of Byzantium, as well as other artifacts: ancient products made of bone, clay and other materials.
In addition, criminal archaeological excavations continue in the territory of Chersonese.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian occupiers were looting and destroying the Cathedral of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in the temporarily occupied Simferopol.
