Most of the residents of Graivoron, Belgorod region of Russia, have left the village.
The governor of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that as a result of shelling in the Graivoronsky district, eight people were said to have been injured.
“Eight people were injured, none of the civilians were killed,” he said.
Gladkov accused the “Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group” of infiltrating the territory of the Grayvoronsky district.
According to him, “the damaged households are being bypassed.” Most of the inhabitants of Grayvoron left the village.
Recall that on the morning of May 22, explosions were heard in the village of Zamostye in the Belgorod Region of the Russian Federation, after which the area lost light. Soldiers of the Russian Volunteer Corps announced a special operation in the region.
The Office of the President noted that Ukraine is not directly related to the events in the Belgorod region.
The authorities of the Belgorod region announced the introduction of a “counter-terrorist operation regime.” According to the GUR, the Russians immediately began evacuating the Belgorod-22 nuclear weapons storage facility.
